HOUSE RULES
Just a few rules so we can be clear about how we work before you make a commitment.
Checkout Time.
We ask guests to leave the premises by noon of the last day. If you have booked say to the 10th we need to have the flat vacated by noon of the 11th so that we can clean the flat and change bedding etc for new guests. If you wish to use the flat that day say for a night flight then you need to book for another day. You can of course leave your luggage to be picked up later assuming we have someone around to open up. We will try and be as helpful as possible.
Check In Time.
On the first night guests must be in to register before 10.00pm. If you are coming into the city late we cannot take your booking for that night. We can recommend places to stay for the night close to the airport or railway station so you can arrive to us fresh the next day.
Bond.
A bond of Rs 500.00 is required and will be fully refunded assuming no damage to the flat has occurred during the stay. Normal wear and tear will not be included in any calculation of damage.
Extra Guests.
The flats can accommodate 2 guests comfortably. The larger flat can take an extra person with a floor mattress. We need to know if you are intending to add any extra guests above that number, before you book the flat.
Visitors.
Foreign visitors can be taken advantage of by other travellers and locals. We hope that people who stay with us will exercise a heightened level of caution when bringing visitors back to their flat. With new friends, valuables should be locked away before entry, (make an excuse before letting them in) and just be aware of scams that people use. If you are a woman please understand what an invitation by you to a man to enter your rooms could mean to him.
We are happy for you to invite local visitors to come and meet with you but please exercise caution and use shared spaces when appropriate.

PRICES AND BOOKINGS
PRICES AND BOOKINGS
You can see from our price structure that we reward people who want to stay for some time.
However we are really very inexpensive for even short stays, no doubt you will compare.
These prices are for one-person bookings.
Add 10% should there be 2 people and 20% should there be three unless there is a child under 10, then there is no extra charge.
For stays of more than 29 nights... West Wing Rs 900/- per night South Wing Rs 700/- per night
For stays of 15 nights to 29 nights.. West Wing Rs 1000/- per night South Wing Rs 800/- per night
For stays of 5 nights to 14 nights.. West Wing Rs 1200/- per night South Wing Rs 900/- per night
For stays of 1 to 4 nights.. West Wing Rs 6000/- South Wing Rs 5000/- (total, not per night)
Please Note:
- If you make a booking in a particular price category but stay less days than that category covers, you cannot request a lower rate.
- ALL PRICES INCLUDE ALL TAXES...THERE ARE NO EXTRA CHARGES.
- A BOND OF RS 500/- IS REQUIRED, FULLY REFUNDABLE IF THERE IS NO CARELESS OR WILFUL DAMAGE. (Paid at the time of booking).
- To hold any booking a deposit of Rs 6500/- (for 1 person) and Rs 7100 (for 2 people) for the West Wing is required and Rs 5500/- for the South Wing (1 person) and Rs 6000/- ( 2 people) is required. This includes the Bond.
- Once a booking is made there can be no refunds.
- Guests staying more than 4 days need to pay on arrival an amount so that they are either fully paid up or always a weeks payment in advance.
PAYMENT
PAYMENT
Payment normally will have to be into our bank account for a booking to be held. The cost of money transfer will be born wholly by the sender. Today money transfers are quite cheap especially if you use non-bank services.
We have used and recommend https://transferwise.com
We think they offer the cheapest and quickest money transfer. Much cheaper than normal bank transfers.
There are other similar companies that now operate much cheaper than banks and then there are companies like Western Union.
Another company that offers a similar service is https://www.payoneer.com/in/
We have not used this service so cannot recommend it but others may have so please contact us if you think this company offers a good and inexpensive service.
